Handprint Tiles for Schools
Personally
Painted Gifts would like to visit your school with our mobile ceramic pottery
studio package. We bring a memory to
parents that will last a lifetime... Your child’s handprint commemorating an
age and size you’ll never be able to capture again.
We work
with your school’s administration in coordinating a date where we can
accommodate the most children possible. Then,
once a date is chosen, we provide you with a letter to send home to all parents
announcing our presence on a particular day.
In the sample letter, the parent will find the pricing and details of the
program. We then give you envelopes
for each class so that you may label them and attach a roster of the class.
This will help us the day of the event.
The envelopes are for a parental agreement form and money.
Personally
Painted Gifts’ staff sets up 30 minutes prior to an agreed upon start time.
We will collect the envelopes on the day of the event and use them to
facilitate each class through the hand printing process.
Once we are done, we will clean up the area.
It takes about 2-3 weeks to receive the tiles back and we will deliver
them to your school where you can distribute them by classroom.
Your
school can collect the money ahead of time so that we know how many students for
which to prepare. We will also call
you one week out to gather a tentative number of parental permission forms.
Children
younger than 12 months will use a tile that measures 4”x 4”.
They will FOOTPRINT this age child. This
tile is $8.00
Children
ages 1 year and up will use a tile that measures 6” x 6”.
They will HANDPRINT this age. This
tile is $10.00
There is
a tile selection area on the parental permission form along with places for the
child’s name and classroom/school. We
can tailor the form to include other information that you may feel is vital to
the success of this project.
Please
note that we must have a minimum of 10 children participating to come to your
school or organization.
